Triangle Breathing 5-5-5

Triangle Breathing

Triangle breathing is a breathwork technique where you visualize a triangle to pace your breathing. You inhale, hold your breath, and exhale—each for an equal count,  You can do this for 3-5 Seconds.

Benefits May Include

*Snaps You Out of "Fight or Flight"

When you are stressed or anxious, your sympathetic nervous system takes over, causing shallow breathing and a rapid heart rate. Triangle breathing deliberately activates the parasympathetic nervous system (your "rest and digest" mode). By forcing your breath into a slow, structured rhythm, you send a physical signal to your brain that you are safe, which lowers your heart rate and cuts down cortisol (stress hormone) production.*

* Sharprons Focus and Stops Mind-Racing

Anxious minds love to sprint ahead. Triangle breathing gives your brain two specific tasks that interrupt looping thoughts:

  • Counting: Keeping track of the 3-second or 4-second intervals.

  • Visualization: Tracing the sides of a triangle in your mind's eye as you go.

This combination acts like a cognitive circuit breaker, clearing out mental clutter so you can focus on the present moment.

* Boosts Lung Capacity and Oxygen Flow

Most of us are "chest breathers," using only the top portion of our lungs. Triangle breathing encourages deep, diaphragmatic breathing (using your belly). Holding your breath for a few seconds allows your lungs to fully expand and gives your body more time to efficiently exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.

* Improves Emotional Control

Practicing a structured pause (the "hold" phase) builds a buffer between a stressful event and your reaction. Over time, this breath control trains your brain to regulate your emotional responses rather than just reacting on pure impulse.

* Improves Sleep

Helps you relax and fall asleep quicker and may help you remember your dreams.

Try Triangle Breathing and let us know how you like it.

Here is a video we made to help you along.  Just listen and follow the triangle breath.

Inhale - Hold - Exhale - Repeat !

You can do a 3-3-3   4-4-4 or 5-5-5

Try each one and see what you like and what works for you.

Enjoy!

There is always Something or Someone there to Lift You Up!

I was sitting in a quite space and this is what showed up for me.  A visual of an angel holding me in there arms and we started to rise up and up and up.  The message received "There is always something or someone there to lift you up."

What shows up for you?

Surrender

In a stressful moment or just sitting in mindful mediation, try this affirmation.

I surrender and embrace this moment.

I let go of all and any fears.

I breath and feel love and light.

Lost Things

Have you ever lost or misplaced something?   Have you looked and looked over the place you think you put it only to come up empty handed?

I recently had lost a tool.  I was quite certain that I had put it back in my toolbox where I keep my tools.  Several times I had gone back to the toolbox, opened all the drawers, looked inside only to come up empty handed.  Where else’s would I have put this tool? The only place I could think of was a drawer in the house where I keep the hammer. Of course it was not there either.  Over several months I have been looking and thinking where could I have put this tool?

The other day I was listening to a physic podcast. They where talking about lost things. They where talking about how if you have lost something, you should try asking your guides and angles to show/tell you where the lost item was.  So I thought it would be a great idea to ask my guides to show/tell me where my lost tool was.

So I decided before I went to sleep to ask my guides with a please and thank you to show/tell me where my lost tool was.  I figured I have nothing to loose by asking. This method works really well for my husband who is always asking questions before he goes to sleep and then gets an entire dream about what ever it is he asked.

So as I started to drift off to sleep but was not quite a sleep, this is know as the hypnagogia state, which is the transitional state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep, I asked to be shown/told where the tool was.  I imagined the tool and what it looked like, I was the tool.  I was then told that the tool was in a drawer in the tool box.  My thought was I have looked in all the drawers and its not there.  Then I was shown that on the top of the tool box it opens up and there is a drawer and that is where it was.   I had placed several things on top so forgot that it opened up.   First thing in the morning I grabbed my husband and said we have to go look in the garage in the tool box.   Sure enough there was my tool.

A couple of days later my husband was sorting his tools.  He told me he could not find a hammer and a pry bar that he had and that he could not remember where he put it.  That night before he went to sleep he asked to be shown/told where those tools where.  He did not wake up with an answer.  Later that day when sitting down at his desk he asked the guides again to show/tell him where these tools were.  He got a message that they were in a container in the garage in a demo bag that he had made.   Out to the garage he went.  He found the container and inside the container there was the demo bag that he had made and forgot about.  In the demo bag there was his hammer and pry bar.

We where both pretty excited to find our lost things.   Do you have lost things?  Try asking you guides and angels to show/ tell you where your lost things are. Let us know your experience.
