A beautiful Life

Lost Things

Have you ever lost or misplaced something?   Have you looked and looked over the place you think you put it only to come up empty handed?

I recently had lost a tool.  I was quite certain that I had put it back in my toolbox where I keep my tools.  Several times I had gone back to the toolbox, opened all the drawers, looked inside only to come up empty handed.  Where else’s would I have put this tool? The only place I could think of was a drawer in the house where I keep the hammer. Of course it was not there either.  Over several months I have been looking and thinking where could I have put this tool?

The other day I was listening to a physic podcast. They where talking about lost things. They where talking about how if you have lost something, you should try asking your guides and angles to show/tell you where the lost item was.  So I thought it would be a great idea to ask my guides to show/tell me where my lost tool was.

So I decided before I went to sleep to ask my guides with a please and thank you to show/tell me where my lost tool was.  I figured I have nothing to loose by asking. This method works really well for my husband who is always asking questions before he goes to sleep and then gets an entire dream about what ever it is he asked.

So as I started to drift off to sleep but was not quite a sleep, this is know as the hypnagogia state, which is the transitional state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep, I asked to be shown/told where the tool was.  I imagined the tool and what it looked like, I was the tool.  I was then told that the tool was in a drawer in the tool box.  My thought was I have looked in all the drawers and its not there.  Then I was shown that on the top of the tool box it opens up and there is a drawer and that is where it was.   I had placed several things on top so forgot that it opened up.   First thing in the morning I grabbed my husband and said we have to go look in the garage in the tool box.   Sure enough there was my tool.

A couple of days later my husband was sorting his tools.  He told me he could not find a hammer and a pry bar that he had and that he could not remember where he put it.  That night before he went to sleep he asked to be shown/told where those tools where.  He did not wake up with an answer.  Later that day when sitting down at his desk he asked the guides again to show/tell him where these tools were.  He got a message that they were in a container in the garage in a demo bag that he had made.   Out to the garage he went.  He found the container and inside the container there was the demo bag that he had made and forgot about.  In the demo bag there was his hammer and pry bar.

We where both pretty excited to find our lost things.   Do you have lost things?  Try asking you guides and angels to show/ tell you where your lost things are. Let us know your experience.

The State of Gratitude. What are you grateful for?

What are the things that you are grateful for?

Gratitude is an expression showing appreciation for the things you see and have. Bring your self in to the moment and notice all the things you are grateful for.  Notice that as you practice gratitude, more will come into your awareness.

Shifting your focus and attention to gratitude and appreciation helps bring more peace, love, and joy into your life.

Take some time during your day and notice the things you are grateful for.  Maybe it is your cup of coffee.  Perhaps a beautiful bird out side your window.  A blooming flower in your yard. Maybe a much needed rain storm or perhaps just a relaxing day.

Take note of how you are feeling while practicing gratitude.  Are you feeling happier? Less stressed? More relaxed?

Here are a few tools I have created to help you experience your gratitude.

Gratitude Mantra:

I am gratitude

I see gratitude

I hear gratitude

I feel gratitude

I know gratitude

I am gratitude

Send and Receive Meditation

Send what you want to Receive

I am sending Love

I am receiving Love

I am Love

I am sending beauty

I am receiving beauty

I am beauty

A fun way to get creative with this meditation is to fill a jar or bowl with the words that you want to send and receive.  Be creative and have fun.  Each day pick a word from the jar and spend 10 min or how ever much time you have sending and receiving.

Enjoy!

Mind Chatter

Have you ever had mind chatter stuck in your head that just refuses to go away?

The other night I woke up about 3am.  I started to turn this way then that way.   Then I started to think about things and people.  One thought started then they just kept on coming. I started to think why am I am thinking about these things when I just want to go back to sleep.  I considered getting up but the more I thought about that idea the less appealing that was.  After about an hour in half I rolled over and said okay this is enough.  Just relax and breathe. I continued to say this to focus my mind away from all the mind chatter that was going on in my head.  Not long after I started to repeat these words, relax and breathe,  I quickly was back to sleep.

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
